Do you have a mathematical problem you are trying to solve?

Would you like a bit of help with a bit of everyday maths or simple coding?

Often in daily life, there are simple maths problems which arise. For example:

  • How much cupboard space do I need in my new kitchen?

  • What size of hard drive do I need to store all my holiday photos?

  • I would love to help my kids with their maths homework but I really struggled with the same topics when I was at school and find it really hard.

  • I'm putting up a shed... How many bags of cement or paving tiles do I need to get for the base?

  • I have a recipe for 4 people but want to make enough for 6... How do I go about scaling the quantities so I know how much of each ingredient to use?

  • How do I use exchange rates to work out how much holiday money I need to get?

It might require making a simple calculation, however sometimes even a bit of maths can seem really daunting. You may have searched for help with a problem online but just don't understand what the web page says and the maths seems too hard.  If you just want a bit of free and friendly basic help with some maths in everyday life, then do either get in touch, or post your question on the Discussion Board.

If you have a larger, more complex, or longer term mathematical task you'd like a bit of help with, then please do get in touch to discuss the size of the task and an appropriate fee.
